Apple Announces 650K apps in the App Store, 30 Billion Downloaded to Date

During Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference Keynote speech, CEO Tim Cook revealed that the App Store now has over 650,000 apps available. There are 225 iPad-specific apps, and over 30 Billion apps have been downloaded since its inception. Apple also said they have paid developers $5 billion to date. The App Store — which has over 400 million accounts on file — operates in 152 countries, including 32 recently added nations. Stay tuned for more news from WWDC
